Awaken – The Music

Work is done for the day

Walked into the elevator and pressed '5'- nothing happened

Of course nothing will happen silly, guess the tiredness have blurred my senses

Then I reached for the 'G', and in a few seconds, I was where I should be

Facing the glass doors revealing the adjoining beautiful scenery around the building

The sun's brightness, the blue sky with white patches all so wonderful

Hold on, this post is actually about a song (or eh maybe the artiste)

So, I paused while enjoying the view to listen to one more song on Pandora

Just one, a crucial decision.

Reconnect to wifi, decide on the Station and wait for the random song

I chose Damien Escobar Station and AWAKEN came on

As the tune journeyed through my ears

I could feel its soothing massage over my brain

I could feel calmness taking me over

My body moving unconsciously to the music, in a slow rhythmic manner

I was literally dancing and making gestures out the building, through the parking lot

Feeling connected to the gentle breeze, the tall trees and the beautiful sky

Every moment in those few minutes felt like heaven

I could not help but say a prayer for Damien

For sharing such an amazing therapeutic gift with the world

With the smiles and the passion he displays while playing the violin

I wonder how many young ladies out there think of 'Spanish Guitar' watching him play.
