When life hands you an unfavorable card
infuriating, unsettling.
It is not time to quit the game
but a time to be still and focus on the next line of action
But you get fixated on that bad card, just that one!
A major distraction!
There are usually opportunities lying in the corner
that the ensuing anxiety, fear or sadness try to make you miss
This may simply mean picking another card
a decision which does not guarantee the disappearance of the worrisome card
But may hold the key to undo the circumstances created by the bad one
You also tend to ignore the opportunity for evaluation - of self and others
As trying times have a way of showing you who care and who you are
Identify the bad card, be aware of it
Don't get stuck on it, but let it spur you to action
so you don't miss the many great cards available
for which you should be thankful.
What are you distracted from?
