Life is beautiful!
How often we get distracted from the beauty of life
Its simplicity, its magic, its splendor
How often we exhale but forget to truly inhale
How often we let the voices of others and their description of life, define our perception of it
How often we ignore life as it strives to reveal itself to us time and time again
Sitting here on a red blanket on the grass at an inclined angle
It is all so easy to take in its vitality
To experience life in its richest form
The color, the sound, the touch, the smell, and even the taste

The sound of water hitting the rocks
The birds chirping happily
The buzzing of little insects
The incomprehensible voices of adults in the distance
The chuckles of the children exploring this space
No billboard chart top music beats this awesome melody and harmony

The butterflies -yellow and white- flying around the flowers of many colors
The different shades of green that the plants and trees display
The little red bird that keeps flying around me, as if wanting to make my acquaintance
The black birds that land on the tree stems vertically, carefully going up or down the tree
The fishes, orange, yellow, long and short
The ripples in the pond
The kite-shaped object hanging down one of the trees

The smell of moisture
Of grass, plants and flowers
The sweet smell that leaves exactly that taste in the mouth

The gentle breeze as it soothe the skin
The varied texture of the different plants and flowers
Smooth, rough, or spiny
The scary but interesting feel of insects crawling up your limbs
The electric feel of fishes as they make contact with your fingers

The five senses are doing a great job
The sixth sense is stimulated too.
That warmth, the serenity, the joy that moves to tears
The realization of how insignificant one is when all creatures are accounted for
The power in variety and consciousness
The appreciation of ones ability to receive and transmit this stimulation

Life is truly beautiful
And it is almost impossible to disconnect from it here,
Because just when one of your senses gets weary or distracted, it grabs the attention of another.
And as I start to leave, tears begin to form around my eyes
Why can't I live here?
In these and much more are indeed signs for those who reflect
Glory be to the Creator of all forms.
